I am trying to install Office Professional on to a clean install of Win7 Professional on a brand new, never before used SSD drive. These are brand new discs, purchased from Microsoft and come with all the Genuine Microsoft marks on them. I cannot install Office because it will not get past one micrisoft other of the messages about not being able to find office. I have read through countless forum replies and I have tried copying the disc to the desktop and installing it from there and I have tried a clean boot and I have tried using a different cd-drive.
I can confirm that the disc is pure, unscratched and freshly sent to me from Microsoft in Singapore. Is it possible to get answers wetup these two questions please: what is the solution to this totally clean install issue?
And, why is there no mention of this problem in the Office 'known issues' section when there are literally millions of hits on Google and hundreds of hits on this very forum, going back to Office ? Oh, and I have also tried downloading a copy of Office перейти Digital Microsofh, reseller of Microsoft products. That did not even get to the first welcome screen, reporting 'The installation of this package failed'.
